Welcome to Nerve Protocol. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our services, applications, and website (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using Nerve Protocol, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Nerve Protocol.
  • You are of legal age and capacity
  • All information you provide is truthful and accurate

2. User Accounts

  • To access core features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and your name.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or exploit the AI
  • Uploading or transmitting harmful, abusive, or offensive content
  • Using the platform for spamming, phishing, or fraudulent purposes
  • Interfering with the platform's normal operation or security
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found violating these terms.

4. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is critically important to us. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, and use your data.

  • Only your name and email are stored on our servers
  • AI context and usage history are stored locally on your device via cookies/cache
  • We do not store or analyze your chat history or prompt content
  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and functionalities of the platform (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Nerve Protocol or our licensors.
  • This includes AI models, code, branding, logos, designs, website content, and layout.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without written consent.

6. User Content

  • You may interact with the AI and input content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
  • By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs for the sole purpose of delivering the AI response.
  • We do not retain, train on, or use your content for any other purpose.

7. Service Availability

  • We aim to provide uninterrupted access but make no guarantees regarding availability at all times, freedom from bugs or errors, or loss of data due to unforeseen issues.
  • We reserve the right to update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

8. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, we detect malicious or illegal use, or we are required to do so by law.
  • Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but your email and name can be deleted upon request.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee that the AI will always return accurate or appropriate responses, the service will be free of delays or interruptions, or use of the platform will result in specific outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nerve Protocol shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, or user reliance on AI-generated content.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you've paid (if any) in the past 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or in-app notification.
  • Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the international laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
